Public bug reported: When I open the Software Center "Ubuntu Software," at the top Updates shows the 1 indicator meaning there's an update. When I click on it, it says there's an OS Update available. I click on Install, and it seems to go through the install process (the status bar is moving), but then after, when the program refreshes, it still says that update is available. It never goes away.
The update it is trying to install is grub-efi-amd64-signed, then over a bit it says 1.66.2+2.02~beta2-36ubuntu3.2. ** Affects: gnome-software (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Screenshot from 2016-08-25 23-29-54.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1617158/+attachment/4728094/+files/Screenshot%20from%202016-08-25%2023-29-54.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1617158 Title: Software Center always shows an OS update is available To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1617158/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
