Obviously still an unresolved issue. Just did an Ubuntu update on 16.04 and the
following dialog and errors:

hello all,
I reinstalled my Ubuntu 16.04LTS on my Lenovo X230 and used a self
created packet list to reinstall automatic all my software. As there
was NO repository configured for the ppa:linrunner/tlp it installed by
accident the version from ubuntu sources: "tp-smapi-
dkms_0.41-1_all.deb".
