When using libreoffice gradients show up fine in edit mode, but not in the
slide show. I have tried downgrading to libreoffice 5.1 using the debs on the
libreoffice official website but to no avail. Sometimes the gradients show up
but distorted on other occasiones

Hi Christopher okay I've done as you suggested, and no problem gradients work
fine. I think the problem could be to do with the intel graphics firmware, as
when I was on 16:10 there was some message about intel firmware (don't recall
exactly). I tried to sort that out, but I couldn't get the

Is this issue reproducible in your current 16.04 install if you use the
latest upstream supported version of LibreOffice as per
