I confirm I see this behavior on a fresh installation of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. The variable $SESSION_MANAGER isn't set. If I log out or shut down the system with Firefox running, Firefox always shows a message about a previous crash and a button to restore the session. -- You received this bug
