If you want to use the sideways movement of the wheel for browser forward and
back, instead of the lateral buttons, just replace the 10 and 11 with 6 and 7.

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?

I think you need to ask the driver author directly. I have zero clue on
how M560 works because I don't own one.
