[Bug 1685870] Re: [MIR] gnome-shell
There are two folders in the tests/ directory, unit and interactive. I couldn't get the interactive ones to work and their name implies that they won't be useful for automated testing? The "unit" tests are now being run as part of the build: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/3.24.2-0ubuntu4 We have been doing work on the gnome-shell bugs. A week ago, there were almost 800 open gnome-shell bugs. We've cut that in half and many of the remaining bugs are marked Incomplete because they were reported on old, unsupported releases. I did make sure that Triaged bugs have a GNOME bug attached now. There are still Confirmed bugs that have not been filed with GNOME yet. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1685870 Title: [MIR] gnome-shell To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1685870/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

- Despite what is claimed in the bug description; iio-sensor-proxy is still a Recommend, would need a MIR. - There appears to be test that could run for gnome-shell, but they aren't obviously being run as part of the build -- make check does not appear to run run-tests.sh. - There are a few older bugs filed against gnome-shell (but perhaps belong elsewhere) that are confirmed/triaged, but do not appear to have been upstreamed.
