I also have the video corruption, although not as severe, on the ASUS H87M-E.
Here is the details on that motherboard:

I don't think this is a compiz issue.
I'm also experiencing severe graphical glitches with this particular CPU and 
I'm not using compiz.
A while ago I'd reported bug #1619556 but fell short of time to see it through.
