20.04, or at least 18.04 and continue to report any problems you find.

I just got this same crash during a window switch (Activities Overview)
in GNOME. The desktop completely freezes (input devices continue to
work).
$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS
Release:16.04
$ uname -a
Linux [redacted] 4.10.0-37-generic #41~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri
And the gnome-shell info (which matches post #8)
