Ok, migrations through the upgrades worked as well.
So tested and by that issuing the sync of the newer version as in Debian.

Local boot was fine with the new slof.
But since there could be issues when migrating from old-slof to
system-with-new-slof I'm currently testing this as well.

Yeah I saw the update, and I had an 20170724+dfsg-0ubuntu1 ready but I did just
the same he did.
So I appreciate his upload and prefer making it a sync.
I'll make a ppa ready with the sync instead of my mereg and I'll try to catch
you today what you have in mind about a test to do the right thing

I spoke to Aurelien (the Debian maintainer) and he did the update in
Debian today. I'd still like to give this a test drive before approving
the FFe, but given the recommendation to keep qemu and slof in sync, I'm
tentatively on board with this.
