Public bug reported:

Please sync freelan 2.0-5 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  * Merge from Debian unstable. Remaining changes:
    - Dont apply patch to build against openssl 1.1 as its not present
      in ubuntu as yet.

The delta is no longer necessary since I backported the patch from
upstream that made compilation with older versions of OpenSSL possible
again.

The only other change against 2.0-4 then is some additional documentation.
This should not be a problem for the current freeze.

Changelog entries since current artful version 2.0-4ubuntu1:

freelan (2.0-5) unstable; urgency=medium

  [ Sebastien Vincent ]
  * patches: backport 44087faf to re-enable compilation with OpenSSL 1.0.x

  [ Rolf Leggewie ]
  * add README.Debian with instructions on simple test setup
