Hello, People, I see the same error again and again and due to this, I am unable to Install any new softwares. Below is the error report when I tried installing "Virtual Box". NEED HELP Setting up virtualbox (4.3.36-dfsg-1+deb8u1ubuntu1.14.04.1) ... * Stopping VirtualBox kernel modules ...done. * Starting VirtualBox kernel modules ...done. Processing triggers for ureadahead (0.100.0-16) ... Setting up virtualbox-qt (4.3.36-dfsg-1+deb8u1ubuntu1.14.04.1) ... Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.19-0ubuntu6.13) ... @Steve: The moment I open ~/.bashrc or ~/.profile as vim~/.profile OR vim~/.bashrc and then I press 'i' for Insert, My terminal screen auto stuck at the first line. Meaning it doesn't allow me to edit at all. Look for references to TERM in ~/.bashrc or ~/.profile, to start with.
