** Description changed: I am trying to play various videos using totem, and editing using kdenlive. In both cases, the video (which is dominated by the yellow colour) is displayed as purple. With mplayer and vlc the problem does not manifest. The problem appears both under wayland and under xorg sessions in ubuntu 17.10 whereas it didn't appear in 17.04. + + [EDIT:] + + I do not know to which source package to assign the bug. I suspect + kernel or video drivers, but need help in understanding how to discern + between the two, and what additional information may be needed.
