No, since xserver-xorg-input-synaptics is not installed by default. Two-
finger scrolling used to work without it, so I don't think that's where
the solution is.

I managed to get two-finger scrolling working after installing the Intel
microcode firmware package.
No idea whether this is a true fix for it or just luck though.
