Public bug reported:

On visiting sites like "www.hattrick.org" and "www.trackking.org", the
javascript setInterval that powers the continually-updated clocks on the
pages causes the entire system to 'momentarily freeze' each second as
the clock display updates.

In Track King, this glitch just causes a shudder in any animations on
the screen at the time - Flash, advanced window effects on my desktop,
even glxgears.

In Hattrick, excessively 'wobbling' my browser window while the clock is
on screen will actually cause Firefox to hang.

Today's my first day with Ubuntu. 7.10. A few problems enabling a Radeon
9600 on my Athlon 3000+ build of Ubuntu, but got all the other lovely
effects happening now....however as these Web Games are a large part of
my daily routine, this bug is quite meaningful to me :-(
