James,

Per comment #5 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
shell/+bug/1723678/comments/5) you should probably open a new bug
report, and link this old bug.

(Also, add a comment here with the link to the new bug report, so folks
that are subscribed to this bug and are also still experiencing this
issue can indicate that they are impacted).

I'm getting this in 19.10, could you revisit the won't fix?

2019-06-03 Thread Daniel van Vugt
The original bug here was reported against 17.10 which is now past end
of life. And comment #3 while similar, is a different problem.

I am going to close this bug as "Won't Fix" since there is no evidence
of it in a supported version of Ubuntu.

If you would like to continue discussing issues that are in a supported
version then please open new bugs for them by running:

  ubuntu-bug gnome-shell

Ubuntu 18.04.2 up to date at 20/3/2019

getting similar warnings:

Mar 20 19:57:28 RooTBooK gnome-shell[2561]: Some code accessed the
property 'WindowPreviewMenu' on the module 'windowPreview'. That
property was defined with 'let' or 'const' inside the module. This was
previously supported, but is not correct according to the ES6 standard.
Any symbols to be exported from a module must be defined with 'var'. The
property access will work as previously for the time being, but please
fix your code anyway
