I installed the full "kubuntu-desktop" meta-package. Using "Pop_OS!"
spin of Ubuntu 17.10. SDDM is the XDM that is being used. When I enter
my password and click, "Login", the cursor changes to an "X" and you
can't click on anything else or change anything in SDDM
