Console not correctly set up after boot

console (tty1, tty2, etc) charset is wrong on startup
I've tried running:
$ dpkg-reconfigure console-setup
but I'm still not able to see characters with accents (á, é, í, ó, ú...).
I don't see any character when I type them in the keyboard.

you will have to run
dpkg-reconfigure console-setup
to make the changes permanent. It will generate a new initramfs which will set
the correct font/keymap during boot.
