I have been having a similar problem and it seems to be due to
vfs_getattr having been changed in the kernel to take 4 arguments. It
seems that later versions of spl will work with the new vfs_getattr.
(But I have no idea how to use the later version)

I think I have same problem. I was trying to install zfsutils on Xenial
Ubuntu Studio with the low-latency kernel.

libzfs2linux, then zfs-fuse, then zfsutils-linux on Xenial Ubuntu Studio
with 4.13.0-38-lowlatency
