Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It seems that there was an error on your system when
trying to update the kernel on your system due to a lack of free space
in your boot partition. Please resolve this situation manually and try
the update again.
I had a similar problem, also caused by a copy error.
Because of that problem I could not only not upgrade the kernel but couldn't
install any software at all.
In my case the problem was caused by a missing udev rule in
/etc/udev/rules.d/. I created the rule when trying to run a windows
