I would suggest that you submit a merge request, where you propose the
change be merged into:
https://code.launchpad.net/~mozillateam/firefox/firefox-trunk.head
Then there is a need to make the same change for the snap version, but
that seems to be a truly upstream matter:
Any chance that the patch will be merged before a new Firefox version
release?
