Public bug reported:

I waited 48 hrs before reporting in the event that it was only temporary
as things can be in a state of flux with a developmental version with
updates often.

Anyway, after one of the recent updates for me, I couldn't change the session 
in the GDM session selector. Had to use the keyboard + return key to login. No 
biggie as I don't change sessions often.
I'm currently running vanilla gnome. This behaviour exists with the recent 
Ubuntu Kernel too (In case one is wondering about the custom kernel I'm 
running, if it's the problem).
