** Changed in: zfs-linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Description changed:
- unattended-upgrades upgraded zfs today to 0.6.5.6-0ubuntu19, and since a subsequent reboot, the zfs filesystem appears empty. I've verified that there was not a directory named after the zfs mount before the mount, and zfs shows there is something in the filesystem - see below, but when mounted, no files are visible. - root@mahrez:/var/log/apt# zfs list -t all -o space - NAME AVAIL USED USEDSNAP USEDDS USEDREFRESERV USEDCHILD - mahrez 53.5T 332M 201K 457K 0 332M - root@mahrez:/var/log/apt# df /mahrez - Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on - mahrez 57443602688 512 57443602176 1% /mahrez - There are no errors from zfs in the logs, no disk problems, and it has been scrubbed with no errors. - I've been trying to revert to an older zfs version to test if the update is definitely the cause, but the packages don't seem to be available. I've booted into 3 older kernels to see if that helped, but no. - The logs from the update are below. After the update, a user reported they were getting "operating not permitted" when trying to read their files on the fs. I verified this was the case, and rebooted to see if that would help, and after that, no files were listed at all. I've got 4 other machines running older zfs versions which are fine. I've stopped updates on them. - Start-Date: 2018-03-02 11:05:42 - Commandline: /usr/bin/unattended-upgrade - Upgrade: gnome-accessibility-themes:amd64 (3.18.0-2ubuntu1, 3.18.0-2ubuntu2), bamfdaemon:amd64 (0.5.3~bzr0+16.04.20160824-0ubuntu1, 0.5.3~bzr0+16.04.20180209-0ubuntu1), libsnmp-base:amd64 (5.7.3+dfsg-1ubuntu4, 5.7.3+dfsg-1ubuntu4.1), isc-dhcp-common:amd64 (4.3.3-5ubuntu12.7, 4.3.3-5ubuntu12.9), zfs-zed:amd64 (0.6.5.6-0ubuntu18, 0.6.5.6-0ubuntu19), libdfu1:amd64 (0.7.0-0ubuntu4.3, 0.8.3-0ubuntu2), zfsutils-linux:amd64 (0.6.5.6-0ubuntu18, 0.6.5.6-0ubuntu19), libbamf3-2:amd64 (0.5.3~bzr0+16.04.20160824-0ubuntu1, 0.5.3~bzr0+16.04.20180209-0ubuntu1), libsnmp30:amd64 (5.7.3+dfsg-1ubuntu4, 5.7.3+dfsg-1ubuntu4.1), libzfs2linux:amd64 (0.6.5.6-0ubuntu18, 0.6.5.6-0ubuntu19), libfwupd1:amd64 (0.7.0-0ubuntu4.3, 0.8.3-0ubuntu2), libzpool2linux:amd64 (0.6.5.6-0ubuntu18, 0.6.5.6-0ubuntu19), fwupd:amd64 (0.7.0-0ubuntu4.3, 0.8.3-0ubuntu2), linux-firmware:amd64 (1.157.16, 1.157.17), libnvpair1linux:amd64 (0.6.5.6-0ubuntu18, 0.6.5.6-0ubuntu19), libuutil1linux:amd64 (0.6.5.6-0ubuntu18, 0.6.5.6-0ubuntu19), zfs-doc:amd64 (0.6.5.6-0ubuntu18, 0.6.5.6-0ubuntu19), isc-dhcp-client:amd64 (4.3.3-5ubuntu12.7, 4.3.3-5ubuntu12.9) + qweqweqwe ** Summary changed: - zfs - filesystem seems empty after package upgrade + whycantwedeleteabugwesubmitted -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1752941 Title: whycantwedeleteabugwesubmitted To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zfs-linux/+bug/1752941/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
