Yes, later issue was resolved and right now I can login into Wayland
session after installation. LiveCD works in X11 mode by default as I
remember.

Maybe the plasma wayland is 3d accel only now?
We intentionally have no virgl and sdl2 yet for they come with way too many
"teething troubles" still.
Not sure on the plasma side of this, but at least the "normal" 18.04
disks it seems I can boot and run in qemu.
