I confirm, this thing is happening to my Lenovo IP320 PC too.
Emacs gives " is undefined" error often.
My PC Configuration-
Lenovo Ideapad 320
Processor: Core i3 (7th Gen) RAM: 8GB Graphics:
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with Kernel 5.2.7 ( This issues happened with Kernel 4.19.*
too )
LightDM with XFCE
