Well, it's a bit complicated. "Fix released" means that the package in the current development version, i.e. Cosmic, has been updated with that change. I see "fix released" - thanks! But fix hasn't been released via Ubuntu as far as I can tell. The Ubuntu doc page doesn't have the text added at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-user- docs/merge_requests/7/diffs?commit_id=d81692fb so the page referenced in the description of this bug hasn't been updated.
