Public bug reported: Trying to install Ubuntu 16.04 and during the time grub is being installed, receive error "Executing 'grub-install /dev/sda' failed". I have tried many of the solutions on-line (askubuntu, ubuntu wiki, etc.) and have not been able to get around the problem. Event tried to install 18.04, but installer freezes as it's trying to do a grub-mount.
