lxhotkey Ctrl key problem can be avoided by using it at the command
line, e.g.
~ $ lxhotkey app 'lxsession-default tasks' 'BackSpace'
~ $ lxhotkey app
EXEC KEY(s)
lxsession-default launcher F2
...
lxsession-default tasks
Totally confirmed but I got to be honest with you: I have *zero* hope to see
this fixed. LXDE is pretty much dead. It's certainly true with lxhotkey which
has seen no changes (outside of automatic translation updates) since *2016*:
