Hope this is the right place to add a comment. I am using openoffice 2.3 under simplymepis 7.0 - which i presume uses the ubuntu package. If I type an email address into a cell in Calc - it changes colour to blue with a grey background and then refuses to allow any editing. I cannot even

OK - a possible quick workaround for this bug. Hover mouse over the cell with an email address in it and RIGHT click. If you are lucky you will get a Default Formatting option. Click on this and it will change the formatting to the default for the rest of the document. It can then be edited.
