Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

This is a new situation, it never occurred with prior versions of
Firefox: When I go to a website such as my bank or rackspace and they
offer the button to "remember my account number" the next time I visited
those pages the account numbers would already be in the form. With this
version of firefox, the account # form element is only persistent for a
very short time, perhaps only the current session. This is very
annoying with long codes like my bank-card number or with rarely used
codes like my rackspace support account.

is it possible to revert to the earlier behaviour where these cookies
would persist indefinately?
