CORRECTION: Apologies, I just realised (when attempting to modify su-to-root) that lxsudo(1) & friends can only become superuser "root"; an arbitrary user is not supported. Despite the name, su-to-root can become an arbitrary user; i.e., it is not restricted to superuser "root". Hence, at least in Cosmic, su-to-root "cannot" use lxsudo &tc.
