I tested it under wayland and it appears to work fine. ** Description changed: When I run the snap store version of gnome-calculator I get the following message: (gnome-calculator:21891): Gtk-WARNING **: 10:14:30.632: cannot open display: :0 And gnome-calculator never starts.
