Ubuntu MATE 19.04.

Try to upgrade to release 19.10.

Expected Result:
run Alt+F2 then check-new-release-gtk
GUI option to upgrade should be presented

Actual Result:
Alt+F2 window closes and nothing occurs.

Run this command in the terminal and the following is generated:
/usr/lib/ubuntu-release-upgrader/check-new-release-gtk:30: PyGIWarning: Gtk was
