Pedro, it is not the cd icon, but just a normal file icon (a .iso file). Pedro, it is some days since I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm using Hardy. shared-mime-info 0.23-1 nautilus 1:2.21.90-0ubuntu3 file -i reports application/x-iso9660 as mime type, while Nautilus reports application/x-cd-image. The problem persists with latest nautilus (2.21.9x). Do I have to test this with new user. I doubt I will be able to create new user as I am running out of space in my /home directory. By the way even if it works with new user it should still be marked as regression since current users who upgrade to hardy will be affected.
