@Pavel, the log you attached doesn't seem to have any issue about the
touchpad device. If you're still around, please attach logs when your
touchpad stops working.

Hi, could you attach dmesg log of booting with extra kernel parameters
"i2c-hid.debug=1 hid.debug=1 log_buf_len=32M"? This will turn on raw
traffic debug info for your i2c-hid touchpad device.

Periodically after restart touchpad on my UX580 laptop stops working

Closing the lid and letting the laptop to suspend, and then re-opening the
lid activates the touchpad.
