PPC is available as a port though at ports.ubuntu.com it is just a
community driven effort.

As far as I am aware, PPC is no longer supported in the latest versions of
Ubuntu, including Hardy, so I am closing this bug. If you still need to use
your PPC machine, I suggest using Dapper Drake, it still has another year of
support on the desktop.

*sigh* wrong kernel package, sorry; Hardy has 2.6.24.
It's also missing out on the Apple partition table, *and* the SCSI
driver isn't loaded when booting (though it *is* on the initramfs). As a
result, the machine doesn't survive the upgrade.
