Yes, I think this is related to bug 40571: screensaver don't work until
I set preferences in monitor power savings. The fact is that the power
savings preferences are not remembered. By the way, the screensaver is
set after 8 minutes of inactivity, monitor is set to power off at 25
minutes.
I see nothing special in the Xorg.0.log.
Perhaps someone will look at this report later and think of a possible
cause for the bug.
