Confirmed this patch is in upstream master (landed Jul 2019), but was not included in the 1.8.18 release (which was in Jun 2019). (Upstream appears to release infrequently.) I suspect the patch should apply cleanly to Ubuntu's ipmitools but I haven't attempted it. I am wondering if there are
