One more info: after I managed to get into a terminal and do "sudo apt purge rygel", one message appeared " ... out of memory ..." and showed in 2 attributes about 30 GB ... So, after 3 months of UBuntu 20.04 updates, I tried installing Rygel again ... the same bug still exists: it does not take long and the computer almost freezes. EVerything in extreme slow motion. Yes, I enabled file sharing. DOn't know about "journalctl". I also don't know whjat you mean with "session". Thank you for your bug report. What session do you use? Did you enable file sharing in the privacy settings controls? Could you add you 'journalctl' log from a session which had the issue?
