I've installed 3.36.2-0ubuntu1 and used for a few days, opening archives
of different format, compressing/decompressing them, browsing some,
things work without issue, marking as verified

Hello Sebastien, or anyone else affected,
Accepted file-roller into focal-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/file-
roller/3.36.2-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
