Michele, did you restart session after installing/updating gnome-
flashback from proposed? Also you could write more detailed steps with
what you do / what you try to do...

On 20.04 I installed all "proposed" updates and now I can rename with F2
in any other folder, but still not able to do that on my Desktop (my
Ubuntu was updated from 18.04 to 20.04 and previously everything was
working)

Accepted gnome-flashback into focal-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
flashback/3.36.3-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
