Public bug reported:

I installed the HardyHeron Alpha3 for Kubuntu... after installation and
the restart, I went into the settings to see if I can turn on the Num
Lock at start up... When at the settings window for the Num Lock, it
said it was enabled and basicly should be on... When I then restarted my
labtop, the Num Lock does not come turn on and I still had to manualy
hit the Num Lock button on my labtop...

The second thing that happend was after the second restart of Kubuntu,
every thing went smoothly untill after the splash screen... after the
splash screen it looks as if the GUI/Interface wanted to load, but does
not... all I get is a black screen every time I turn on or restart my
labtop... this only happens after the splash screen and trys to load
desktop...
