6.1.12-dfsg-6 completely fixes the problem.
Both /usr/bin/virtualboxvm and /usr/bin/VirtualBoxVM are now present.
bash> ls -l /usr/bin/virtualboxvm /usr/bin/VirtualBoxVM
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 30 Jul 20 17:02 /usr/bin/virtualboxvm ->
../lib/virtualbox/VirtualBoxVM
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 30 Jul 20
6.1.12-dfsg-5 partially fixes this.
Thank you for adding /usr/bin/virtualboxvm .
/usr/bin/VirtualBoxVM is not installed with 6.1.12-dfsg-5.
bash>ls -l /usr/bin/virtualboxvm /usr/bin/VirtualBoxVM
ls: cannot access '/usr/bin/VirtualBoxVM': No such file or directory
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 30 Jul 18 0
