[Bug 1891345] Re: Update to 3.37.90

2020-08-14 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thanks Marcus but no it wasn't, it was built on the Debian builders than
can only use what is in the archive, see the build log

https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=orca=all=3.37.90-1=1597061948=0

Could be that one of the patch changing timestamp lead to some autotools
update? In any case it should be possible to workaround that by
regenerating the macros in question to be from 0.19 in a patch

[Bug 1891345] Re: Update to 3.37.90

2020-08-13 Thread Marcus Tomlinson
This is blocked on:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gettext/+bug/1841551

The build is currently failing with:

*** error: gettext infrastructure mismatch: using a Makefile.in.in from
gettext version 0.19 but the autoconf macros are from gettext version
0.20

My guess is that the 3.37.90-1 package currently in debian/experimental
was built using a local build of gettext 0.20/0.21.
