I understand sometimes 'nomodeset' is required as a workaround. That's why it exists. However, when 'nomodeset' is used the kernel effectively removes all hardware support for the Intel driver and others. If you want finer control of the option you can instead use amdgpu.modeset=0 or radeon.modese

You have disabled the graphics drivers with the 'nomodeset' kernel parameter. Please remove that from /etc/default/grub and then run: sudo update-grub and reboot. If then problem persists after that then please open a new bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of
