@xaan, this seems like a different problem (by looking at the logs).
@suraj, would you happen to know if the system load was high during the
upgrade process for some reason?

Well, reply to myself, I changed my my.cnf from thread_stack = 128K to
thread_stack = 256K and it solved my problem.
Not really sure this is the same issue as first post.

I am using ubuntu as my primary operating system in Lenovo ideapad 100
system with 8 gm ram i3 processor.
I think 8 GB ram is enough for run a linux operating system with gnome
desktop environment. And i am using MySQL server with lampp for web
application development
