Public bug reported:

I think that ever since the HDMI audio driver failed; my system has been
unable to update properly. I think that If it is possible to either re-
install the HDMI audio driver or both the HDMI audio driver and the HDMI
video driver, the Turks version for the AMD Radeon HD 6570 to correct
the problem. This is because AMD does not give support for Ubuntu 16.04.
They give support for Ubuntu 14.04 and lower. In other words, there are
not any proprietary AMD HDMI drivers to correct the problems and
therefore the end result is that the system does not update properly and
there are many errors related directly to this problem. Often I get
system error messages because of these faulty drivers which create this
insane endless loop of code which prevent me from properly updating my
programs. The generic Ubuntu HDMI drivers are clearly failing on the
Turks version of the AMD Radeon HD 6570. There is not any catalyst
control center to tweak the video and audio. If AMD does finally give
Ubuntu 16.04 support then this insanity will end. Otherwise, I am
dependent on Ubuntu to create a better Turks driver for my AMD Radeon HD
6570. Thank you very much for all of your help!! I hope that this driver
problem can be resolved and Ubuntu 16.04 can be restored to sanity. Feel
free to keep me posted on it. Have a wonderful day!!
