Translation: unexpected shutdown I'm using my notebook and suddenly it shuts down, on trying to boot it it spends several minutes with a black screen and then a white flash and it repeats 3 times, then the purple image shows up and stays there for several minutes and finally the user shows up This is not a bug in ubiquity, which is the installer for Ubuntu. It may be a kernel issue, so I'm reassigning this bug report to the linux package.
