I discovered that when nagios-nrpe-server was converted to systemd in
18.04, PrivateTmp=true was set as the default in the config file, which
broke my checks. Since private temp directories are unique across
servers, I opted to disable PrivateTmp for nrpe rather than attempting
to set each one in c
Hi Bob and thanks for this bug report. In debugging this it would
greatly help to have a reproducer from a clean Focal system, e.g. a LXD
container. You can get one by doing:
lxc launch ubuntu:focal nagios-debug
lxc exec nagios-debug bash
