** Description changed:

+ why do you keep i386 on downloadable images, but....cannot commission it
anymore ?
+ I do not have all the other hardware platforms to be able to test - but x32
it seems is not supported anymore - if you cannot commission it, why do you
keep it in the downloadable images. Please bring back i386 and sort out the
buggy non-bootable x32/i386.
+
unfortunately with the re-install of MAAS, I could not get the images
for 16.04 only, to provide a commissioning boot. Only Focal 20.04 is
  supported as boot.

  no more 18.04/
16.04 was the last one to support booting i386. and it became buggy.

I wish that i386 is still supported on my dual core hyperthreading
  computers with PXE boot.

seems the only thing now is to wipe all and install WINDOS or win 98/XP. We
had a good run.
I just did not have at least 8 AMD64 computers to test the JUJU environment.

will now do this in virtual machines... so need about 4x x64 capable
notebooks with cracked screens to use as virtual machine hosts. Bare
metal is very power hungry. I can reliably do 2x virtual machines.

Please bring back i386. My i386s use 250 watt power supplies.
