Public bug reported: I think I have found a bug in the way the Gnome shell theme reacts to setting a custom highlight color when the dark theme is enabled.
Specifically in the Gnome settings, Appearance page, do the following: Select dark theme. Keep the default highlight colour (orange) Now click on the date / time in the Gnome top bar. This menu is dark. Go back to Gnome settings and choose a custom color (i.e. red). Click the date / time again and the menu is now light. Expected results: Should the menus remain dark to follow the dark theme? The new theme & wallpaper looks awesome by the way! Great work.
